Puppy Beginner Training

6 week course   $215

This six week course is an introduction to most things puppy. The puppy training classes cover the basics of potty training, puppy handling, socialization, and introduces foundational life skills such as sit, down, come, etc. Classes meet for one hour each week on the same day/time from when they start.

Class Requirements: Puppies ages 8 weeks up to 18 weeks with proof of up to date vaccinations (email a copy before you attend), sign and send waivers of liability. Class spots are limited to 3 puppies and one person per puppy (for two handlers wanting to attend), and please read our client commitment and refund policy!

Pssst for those puppy planners. . .you can enroll in Puppy Intermediate as well. Just be sure the Puppy Intermediate class start date is after you have completed your Puppy Beginner class!


Puppy Intermediate

6 week course   $215


This six week course is a continuation of the puppy skills introduced in Puppy Beginner. The classes focus on puppies' growing bodies, the "teenage years," and getting continued focus and follow through in an ever distracting world. Classes meet for one hour each week on the same day/time from when they start.

New Behaviors: Recall from "squirrel" distractions, Wait, down/stay, leave it, on leash manners while dealing with strangers.

Class Requirements: Attendance to Puppy Beginner (or permission from trainer), up to date vaccinations for your dog (email before your first class), must be 14 to 18 weeks old to begin class*, sign and send waivers of liability

Class spots are limited to 3 puppies and one person per puppy (for two handlers wanting to attend), and please read our client commitment and refund policy!

Free Puppy Playgroup

Enjoy 30 minutes of puppy socialization for free here at You and Your Dog Training & Services and once a month at Milford Veterinary Hospital. During puppy playgroup your dog learns the vital skills of healthy play etiquette, visual communication, bite inhibition, and for an added bonus, they go home tired!

Prerequisites: Read the Rules of Free Puppy Playgroup, Puppies ages 8 weeks up to 5 months, with proof of up to date vaccinations (email a copy before you attend), sign and send waivers of liability. Playgroups are limited to 4 puppies and one person per puppy (for two handlers wanting to attend)

Registration required for both locations so please sign up to reserve your spot. The first calendar below is for You and Your dog. The second calendar below is for Milford Veterinary Hospital.
